One roof. Two menus. Zero compromises.
The Veil Brewing Co. is one of Richmond’s most-loved craft breweries — and Y Tu Mamá is the food program inside their Forest Hill taproom. If you’ve ever wondered “does The Veil have food?” the answer is yes, and the food is bold Mexican street food made from scratch every day.
Here’s how it works: you walk into The Veil Forest Hill, you order beer at The Veil’s bar, you order food at the Y Tu Mamá counter, and you sit anywhere you like. Indoors, outdoors on the patio, at a picnic table — doesn’t matter. Two separate brands, one roof, zero compromises. It’s the easiest food + beer setup in Richmond.
Our menu is built to pair with The Veil’s tap list. Quesabirria tacos with a hazy IPA. The Chesterfield Burrito with a sour. Birria nachos with whatever’s on cask that day. Cómale bien.

Slow-cooked beef birria, melted cheese, consommé for dipping.

Carnitas, rice, black beans, chipotle, cheese sauce, chorizo.

Chorizo and cheese dip with chips. Built for sharing with a beer in hand.
