Y Tu Mamá is Richmond’s favorite Mexican food spot, tucked inside The Veil Brewing Co. on Forest Hill Ave. We bring the warmth, dedication, and bold flavors of Mexican home cooking to South Richmond — rooted in the traditions of Jalisco and built around the recipes Mexican mothers have passed down for generations.
Our menu is short, focused, and dialed in. Quesabirria tacos are our signature — slow-cooked beef birria with melted cheese, served with consommé for dipping. We also serve carne asada tacos, carnitas, grilled chicken, veggie tacos, two killer burritos (the Chesterfield and the Burrito Del Mar), nachos, and quesadillas. Everything is made fresh daily with authentic ingredients.
